This is a Hamilton 993, 21 Jewels double roller.
Left to me by my Grandfather who worked for Sooner transportation, out of Oklahoma.
It is perfect working order and has very little in the way of wear, a great piece.

Nice watch. Your movement started out to be housed in a hunter watch case. A case with a cover over the dial.
This watch is interesting to me in that the markings on the watch movement do not match the description of the watch when the serial number is looked up in the books and on-line data base available.
The photo of the movement provided is not real clear but it does state Hamilton Watch Co., 21 Jewels, 993 (grade) and serial number appears to be 1536535. If this is the correct serial number, this is what I find:
In my book, Hamilton Watch Co. Productions Figures with grade & serial numbers by Roy Ehrhardt, 1976, looking up the serial number 1536535, it states: 1536001 - 1537000 is a grade 972 lever set.
When I look it up on the on-line data base it states:
    Grade: 972
    Movement Serial Number:1536535
    Estimated Production Year: 1920
    Run Quantity: 1000
    Size: 16s
    Jewels: 17j
    Movement Configuration: Openface
    Movement Finish: Nickel
    Model: 1
    Movement Setting: Lever
    Plate: 3/4 Plate
    Adjusted: Yes
    Adjusted to Positions: 5
    Railroad Grade: Yes
Maybe someone else will come along and clear this up for me. Please check the serial number on the watch movement and let me know if I am correct with the number I stated.
Thanks for sharing your piece of family history,
    Dave

That is VERY interesting, actually the serial is 1556555, it is stamped Hamilton 993, 21 Jewels, double roller.
The more I learn about this the more interesting it gets, I have been told that the sidewinder is supposed to be housed in a Hunter Case, and for the life of me do not know why it is arranged in this configuration, I have looked around to see if i could find more information but there is nothing I can find that pertains to this.
I truly appreciate your comment, and when I have a second I will get a close up of the serial number, there is one more thing,
This watch may have belonged to one of two great Grandfathers, one being my Grandpa Sellers, and one being my Grandpa Harrison, I have assumed the watch belonged to Grandpa Sellers because he worked for Sooner transport, I do have a complete genealogy on both of them, so I have been trying to pin down a year,
But from the serial it appears to be 1940 or so.
This is a very interesting time piece, I wound it just a bit and it worked perfect, I won't wind it again, but I was completely mesmerized by the movement's perceived perfection, it is hypnotizing to say the least.

Ok. That changes it. It matches the movement now.
    1555001 - 1557000 is a 993, pendant set movement.
