Hi, my name is Claudette and I will like to have more information on my new purchase. It's a vintage 20 " doll in very good condition, no cracks. When you turned a knob on top of head the face changed to a crying face, a laughing face or a sleeping face. The head and the hands are made out of porcelain or ceramic -? - I think is bisque because it is not soft skin texture) but not the feets. All the body is in materiel - (very old stuffied cloth) and the head is hanging to the body by a ruban only.

I will realy appreciate your help to identify this doll.

    Thanks a lot!

    Claudette

I have the same doll with a broken thumb. I haven't found much on her either..

I have the same doll only mine is only 9 and a half inches long and is dressed in a bonnet and very long night gown.

I have the same doll given to me by my grandmother. I have no history on her either. She has the same undergarment shown above and the long night gown but the bonnet is missing. Her cloth has yellowed through and even yellowed the dress..almost like some type of oil from inside the stuffing.

Here's the doll but I don't think it will help you much because they didn't know what they had. It's a vintage doll that was sold in a kit. Old bisque dolls would be marked on the back of the head or neck plate.'

i think it may be a repro kit made in the 1980,s or 1990,s. i have a 3 faced
trudey doll, made in the 1940,s made from composition, and your doll reminds
me a bit of her. i still say your doll would be collectable because you just don,t
see them anymore, hope this may help.

I have a 3 face doll which I believe to be bisque face, hands, and feet. She does not have a knob on top head. Soft body, dressed in petticoat, drawers, dress ,stockings and bonnet. Her head turns. I have been trying to get info. on her for sometime as to worth. Can anyone help?
    13. Vestaswind Vestaswind, 13 years ago
She is worth what people will pay for I guess. She is a modern kit doll less than 20 years old. Mary if your doll is different than this post a picture.

Derya you need to post a photo of yours . There are some old one's " Original doll was named Trudy" 3 face . This one is a newer one from a kit . Maybe from 1980's at earliest .
