Here is the first of a few old sand casting plate molds I won at an estate auction that I was working as a runner. It is made from cast aluminum and can produce 4 ashtrays per pour. The ashtray shows a serviceman grabbing a busty gals behind and she hollers "OH!". I tried to find finished product on the internet for months with no success. The Appleton, Wis. casting piece. along with many other tools, forms, crucibles and casting forms were won for a whopping $30.

I think that would get a serviceman arrested now!
Going to pour your own? :-)

I actually should pour the oarlock and line cleat molds for vintage boat restoration parts. I will post them tomorrow, suns already set here.

I should attempt to make a few blunderbuss, although I left the cooker due to the weight of all the bricks it was lined with and the burner unit was missing. I been saving pre-1982 pennies for years, so copper would be nice.
