I feel young! You know the 9 banded Armadillo was a Mayan God! He would grow into a bench and the Mayan Chief would sit on him and discuss the Sun, Moon, Stars and planting of corn. When the Chief became arrogant the God Armadillo would jump straight up bucking off the Chief. This was the favorite story of the Mayan Children! I have a 9 banded wood Armadillo from Guatemala!!
