VINTAGE LARGE ARTGLASS BOWL

The images that are displayed here is that what I believed to be a unique peice of art glass. It measures at about 12 1/2 inches in diameter as well as about 7 inches tall. I located this item at the 77th Street Flea Market in Manhattan's , one of New York City's up scale neighborhood.
I am not really sure of who is the manufacturer of this item. It bears similarities to the Italian murano glass. But, signed Mallis & Jaffe Germantown Glass makers.
