Hello everyone, it is great to be back! Things have been so hectic, with the move and all. I set up a small workstation, and for the time being will use my iPhone to snap pics. Hopefully my good camera will show up soon!!!

Anyhow, I made it to the GW today for an hour or so. Found a lot of silver at half price and a few vases. This is one, and I was able to ID it on my own......which is a first!!! I believe it is a vase made by Moriyama Mori-machi. "The porcelain seems like early to mid 20th century. Thanks to PT dated to "somewhere between the years of 1926 & 1929".

This style is pretty common I see it a lot around here. This piece just has that little extra effort imo. The condition is good with the gold paint mostly faded. It looks like the year, maybe 26 or 28 is marked in a blue underglaze. I do like this.
