    stamped and labeled on the backside with:

    ernst brückner, meiningen
    maler und lackierermeister

    translated it means master vanisher and painter...
    it might be some kind of advertisement by this ernst brückner and i really really like it...
    sorry i did a picture before I cleaned it...
