    It is quite something when they are gathered together in a group photo. The color schemes, differences in facial features, hairstyles, and eras just gives a beautiful vibe that makes me lucky to have them on my shelves....

      Thank you very much! Only a few of them are behind glass cases unfortunately. They tend to cost a lot more than the dolls themselves. Usually, I get them by chance if they already come with a doll inside, which sadly doesn't happen often.
      They look delicate, but believe me, they can be tough cookies which attests to the well made quality on the part of the dollmakers themselves. The fact that these beauties give an air of delicacy means that they embody the nature of geishas and similar female entertainers. Delicate, yet tough at the same time. Just like the term that describes their world, the flower (beautiful, soft, feminine, deceptively delicate) and the willows (resilient, enduring, steadfast, strong).....
