Hello, this is my first post and hope I did it correctly. I was just wondering if anyone had any information to share on this sand finish Purina sign? It measures 4'wide x 5'tall and weighs 15-20 pounds and is painted tin with one remaining piece of wood frame that is stamped "Property of the Ralston Purina Company". Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks. Where you see blue/black on this sign is where the sand finish is. The rest of the sign is smooth paint.

You did fine ,and welcome to the CW!
Does your sign by chance glow or light up if you shine a light on it in the dark?

Sign does have a reflective finish where the blue/black areas are on the sign. Glistens when i turned a set of headlights on it. Thanks Gargoylecollector! I would have never known that.

I thought so!That's the only thing I could think the sand finish would be for.
