I am amazed by this necklaces beauty - unfortunatly it doesnt show in my photos!

I am wondering what era this piece is from, I am stuck!

The actual necklace is made of metal mesh and all the green bits are glass, the bottom part of the necklace is moulded glass with a floral design..

I just love this piece and would like to know more!

Styled like a bolo instead of a necklace.

my guess would be 1920-1940s, made in Czechoslovakia.

This style necklace is called a Lariat. Often the central piece that holds the ropes/chains together can be adjusted like a slide, so you could wear it like a choker or lower for different effects. Here it seems to be fixed. This piece looks like it's from the Art Nouveau period from the look of the stylized leaves on the wonderful molded Peking Glass ovals (Peking Glass is meant to look like Jade). The Peking Glass rings have more of a Deco feel, because of the Geometric Quality and the Asian Influence in Fine Art Deco Jewelry, but here I think it is used in respect to emulating Antique Jewelry from Asia. There are so many wonderful details, the woven brass mesh "ropes" are just beautiful in themselves!
