A Family Gathering: Great Grandparents, Grandpa and Great Aunts and Great Uncles
My maternal grandfather is the handsome man on the far right, in the dark jacket. The clown standing behind him, sticking his tongue out is my favorite great Uncle Charlie. Seated, on the left are my maternal great grandparents, seated on the right, trying to keep a straight face is Uncle Dewey. My great aunts and uncles were lots of fun, always laughing and clowning around, making sure we children were having fun as well. I have decided I got my humor and love of laughter from this side of my family.
This photo was taken in front of their home in Estill County, Kentucky. I do not know what year this photo was taken. I will take a guess and say 1925 ~ 1935
