For boiled eggs (vintage) and it's by 'Walker and Hall'..very good silver smiths....if no other marks like a lion passant, date mark and a mark for where it was made usually all in a row...it is silver plate, you should be able to look up now and find their different marks....very nice...:-)

Its silver SOLDERED, which was just a gimmick to allow them to put the word "silver" on there to trick people. They've got tons of confusing marks like that to create a market for silverplate.
Wasn't it nice of them to put the "SOLDERED" part on the next line below so you might be tricked into thinking it was silver? I hate all that. Its ALMOST dishonest.
