I agree with JayHow, Alfredo. What's the story on the tall owl vase?

is it pacific potteries,I love pacific potteries. somewhere packed up I have a owl candle holder (that I had completely forgotten about until this second) that looks alot like that but smaller.

they also did windchimes and stuff. they were so wacky. they did cats too. I collected pacific potteries in the 90's. I still have a ton of it somewhere.

Thanks GSO! I have a 7 year old daughter with a raging owl fetish. She's bitten by the collecting gene/bug...just doesn't know it yet.

I have three of those owls. The other two are 7" tall. All three are marked with a paper label that states: "Created in Italy for Rosenthal Netter". In addition, one of them has "Made in Italy" embossed on the bottom and a "45/14A" in black ink.

Well, I guess it is my turn to thank all of you. As long as you clean your vases after using them, there is no water damage or calcium deposits. I always use lukewarm to cool water, and I am not afraid to scrub the inside. The outside is another matter!

Alfredo, A Florist friend of mine told me a trick years ago on keeping your cut flowers fresh and last longer, also keeps the water clean longer at the same time.. add just one drop of Clorox Bleach to the water in the vase... it works!

    That is impressive!

Do the same to produce and leave for a few minutes, then rinse. It does clean bacteria and insecticides!

    Lovely glass Alfredo.
I particularly like the cream and red one on the left of your first picture.

That one is really ivory, UV reactive. The decor is pink chevrons, and I have a shade to match (but not UV reactive). Pallme-König.

Parkerhouse, they are my first line of defense from what I call "the black hole of winter". My other big defense is my collection of lamps!
