Found this and had to have it I am not sure about thematerial used, but I think it might be Ivory. Very detailed work.

Bone won't take lattice work like that, so figure ivory or plastics.

Plastic. Mold registration marks (indented circles) run along the bottom edge in picture two.

Have you tried the hot pin test? Take a pair of pliers, hold a pin in it and heat it with a match as hot as it will get & hold the pin against the material. If it melts, it's plastic.
