I am putting this Loetz vase down as a PG 1/214. Whatever it is, it is again one of my favorites. Everything about it screams ""LOETZ". The decor, the colors, and the shape are all perfect examples and are all just fabulous. (2005)

I was not questioning that it's Loetz. I was writing to see if there was any disagreement over calling it a PG 1/214, as the picture on page 305 of the Cantz book shows thicker upper and lower bands and the decor is less precise than mine.

I think it is an Unknown PG. I see some threading in your vase but I am not sure what color they are. The vertical bands deviate from the PG 1/214 description which calls for "Greenish threads and two silver-yellow bands". Cantz also indicates that the ground for PG 1/214 is blue opal.

Yes, it has the greenish threads and two silver-yellow bands, one near the top and the other near the bottom with drawn vertical strings connecting them, but on a green opal ground. I contend that there are more colors for some of the production numbers than are listed in the books.
For a vase identical in shape and decor to this one, except with different colors, see Ricke I page 149.

Yes, agreed, the Ricke 1 example is the same vase and same decor as your vase and clearly the decor of your vase comes in a couple of different ground colors. I have also found additonal ground colors for documented decors other than the ones mentioned in Cantz or Ricke. On the other hand ground color can be a significant decor changer, i.e. - Argus & PG 3/430. In this case I don't think the ground color variance is the key indicator. Your vase is beautiful and a wonderful addition to anyone's collection.
