Bought this as a Pearled Cranberry Glass Vase - I am hoping it is a Rindskopf! If so, when would it date from? It is 8" high with a brass
collar, would this have had a frog?

So Moon, does this make mine a Kralik Stolzle? Not Rindskopf?
I wish I could tell you for sure....I am just learning myself. I know for sure that mine is a Stolzle..because of the shape and metal rim...2 more are coming like mine...but I am no expert. I love the look and yours is gorgeous! Someone will know on CW!! XO
I really like this vase, but I do not know the maker. My first guess would not be Rindskopf, but it could be for all I know. The shape is very Loetz, but this is probably styled after Loetz by some other Bohemian factory c1900. The color is great!

Trust me I am not an expert on the Kralik/Stölzle issue. It was Alfredo who brought it to our attention awhile back. I am pretty sure your piece falls into the same category. I'm not sure what you mean when you say " And I think mine should be a Loetz?"
Mac63, I meant to say that I really think it should be a Loetz..but it does not have a pontil....so I was told its Kralik. :)

I am pretty sure your piece is not Loetz.
I think most would agree that at one time your piece would have been ID'd as Stölzle but now it seems that this type of glass is attributed to Kralik. I have nothing to back up that attribution other than people who are smarter than me have told me so.
And as for "but it does not have a pontil..." Not all Loetz pieces have polished pontils - again the smart people told me that...:)

That photo on the loetz.com website is the main reason that these type vases were all attributed to Stölzle. Since that time we have come to the conclusion that they are actually Kralik. That one in the photo from the book may indeed have been by Stölzle, but the others are not. The fact that the stamped metal was made by the same company and in the same shape doesn't necessarily mean the glass is by the same company. And we know that Kralik filled orders for other companies. If they were given a photo or pattern to follow, including a metal rim to fit, they would create the pieces needed.

The style is undoubtedly Art Nouveau, so I would place it between 1898-1902.
