I inherited this a while ago. I originally thought this was a strange kind of cigarette lighter. I've now been informed it is a perfume atomiser. Can anyone tell me anything about it. What era would this style be from? Was this a common design in its time? Any thoughts would be welcome.

I believe your atomizer is from the 50's era. It's a lovely one. Meant to be carried in a ladies travel bag, or handbag.
