I put this together for my wife who is a Nurse.
I found an invitation that Clara Barton had sent with her picture and autograph on the front. It is mounted above a 1st edition of her book, THE RED CROSS.
In a matching frame I had a picture of Florence Nightingale with the Nightingale pledge mounted above a 1st edition of NOTES ON NURSING.

This is very valuable and beautiful. I am a nurse also...how thoughtful.
Thanks, JoanneTiques (LOVE that name!). One of the truly under-rated professions...Nurses are the BEST. When the Fireman is burned and the Policeman is shot it is Nurses they turn to. The average person has no idea of the professional skills these men and women have. ...oops...sorry about the soap box...lol
