My grandparents owned a couple cheese factories during the 50s and 60s and the whole family helped out. There's even a few great photos were they used an empty cheese vat as a play pen. This is a photo of my dad outside the factory and I think was taken in the late 50s.

What part of Wisconsin are you from manikin?
My dad was a Col. in Army Reserves and we went to Wisconsin one summer while he was at 2 week training. We rented a cabin on Lake Emily? I remember this name!! I will google later, This was 1956? or so! Beautiful!
My father came to the cabin with this Giant round cheese! Huge! My mom said we can not eat all of that! WOW! It went fast! I still remember mom slicing that wonderful cheese!!
