Several years ago after buying my house I needed a special dresser and couldn't find one anywhere. So I went downtown Indianapolis to Foutain Square to one of my favorite antique stores. At this particular time upstairs was this outstanding tiger oak washstand with the serpetine front . After seeing it I walked around for awhile thinking if it would look right in the bedroom as a dresser, but knowing it would because I had already made my mind up when I first saw it. Well we carried it down stairs and loaded it up and I took it home. It works perfect as a dresser. I can't tell you, I've had so many compliments on this piece.

Gorgeous piece! They sure don't make them like that anymore. The craftsmanship was superb back then and people really took pride in their work. I too, have furnished my home with antique furniture, lamps, pictures, etc....I can honestly say, many of my furnishings are made in the good ol' USA! That's one advantage to buying antiques :)
