    This was originally found through Craigslist down in Iowa. A gal had found it cleaning out here parent's garage. The black coloring on the convex glass had flaked away,but the outer oval frame and glass were intact. I'm hoping to have it restored and displayed one of these days,er...years. Its a pre-prohibition sign from the 'teens. (A restored/mint example is shown on the right)

      I wouldn't restore this one, the patina is great and it's such a nice piece and hard to find that you might devalue it by doing this. Great sign!

      Yah I would also say dont touch it, you see so many of these shows where people try and clean up and restore old stuff and the experts are heartbroken to see what they did. Restore old cars if you want to restore something, not something that hangs on a wall.
