My mother would like to know whether this has any value as she is looking to get it out of her house. It was collected by my father, who passed away.

That one is from the 1990's, would an older letter be of any more value or does not matter? Well, either way it should get her a little cash so now on to figuring out how to find a new owner for it.

What DD failed to mention was that $140 of that was for the Gene Sarazen association. $9 for the Ford signature :)

Ha ha! So my mother might as well donate it to Goodwill then.

Seriously, There are always political collectors. If she doesn't want it she could donate it to a local school or church or her favorite charity for a silent auction.
1976, Bicentenial year, RNC all sorts of interest here. It won't cover the mortgage but it is a nice piece of history.

Hard to tell, I will look into that. I guess it woukld also matter if it was signed during Presidency or as this one is, as a Congressman. I would think a Presidential one would hold more value. Dave

I find it unusual that this is just on his stationary. In 1976, he was the President of the United States! You would have to verify the authenticity of the signature to make sure it is not an autopen. Hope we've helped. :)
