Hard to find Sterling tank bike with great original paint. Young couple needed money to pay the bills and offered it to me. Only one I've seen in person. Very streamlined bike.

Very nice! Who made this bike?

      Head badge reads, "Sterling".

I'm pretty sure this was made by Columbia. The springer, sprocket, and that rear reflector are dead give-aways... The Sterling Bicycle Co was long defunct by the time this guy was made. I googled Columbia sterling bicycle and they did make a model called the sterling but it was written on the chainguard and not the headbadge?? Definitely Columbia though...
