    This is my Grandmothers trunk after I cleaned and worked on it. I cleaned the rust off but not the patin on the metal parts. I did sand and refinish the wood parts.

      Here is the before and after trunkman or should I say the after and then the before.

      I used your advice of gun oil on the metal. I think it worked very well.
