Yes, this is our baby...1986 Harley lowrider, Liberty...only a few hundred were made and this is our 3rd. Nothing fancy, oh yea custom sissy bar about 4 ft tall...background is the Badlands last summer on a month long bike trip

Sorry about you're bad experience in the Badlands valentino...we have been very fortunate on our road trips. We live in southern Ohio and when we do our road trips everything we need is on the bike from our tent to tin cups. The last trip we took we stayed at a hotel 2 times because of very bad weather, other then that we camp out at state parks along the way. Since my husband is retired we have no time limit just a destiny. No course is plotted and we try to enjoy the trip. Sometimes we'll stay at a spot for a day, sometimes a couple of days. The most we travel is probably about 400 miles per day. I think everyone should experience the beauy that this country has to offer. As far as Sturgis...well we're not the type that likes large crowds, in fact we usually travel by ourselves. Next year our adventures will take us to the North-eastern part of the country...can't wait.
