Nice Singer base that someone made into a table.

    I like old cast iron.

I had some cast iron Singer legs in my garage sale for which I asked $20.00 with no takers. After a few sales over several months I finally got 10.00 for them. I had bought them thinking I would one day put a marble top on them, but never did. How this attached to the legs so it doesn't tilt off?

    Sorry ...
How is this attached to the legs?

I do not think that the top is attached to the legs unless it is glued .

I bought this same exact sewing machine base at a antique store in Delaware about 2 years ago for like 20 bucks. It's been in my garage since then. I finally got it out and started sanding it. Im going to restore it and put a wooden table top on it. Same thing here, the foot peddle still works the big wheel. Amazing how well things were built back then! I hope it turns out to look as nice as yours dgicollector. Good job!
