Purchased on one of my "quests for all that sparkles".
I bought this at a local antique mall for very little money. I am guessing that this is an earlier Weiss piece, due to the makers mark.
"Much of Weiss' jewelry is unmarked but items that are marked can be dated accordingly. The earliest pieces bore the 'WEISS' signature (block capitals) which was then followed by 'Weiss' (in script). Later pieces, from the late 1940s onwards are often marked 'Albert Weiss' or A W Co. In the latter the W is portrayed with a crown symbol."

I took two photos, because I wanted to show how even though the stones have an almost matte, lifeless appearance, they come alive when hit by the sun.
