I love knitting... The fact that I never finish a project is another story. I received this set of needles from a family member. The case is in a pretty rough shape, but I like the patent number and date...

These are gorgeous! I am an avid knitter too, and have two hooks and an awl just like your fifth one. They are so nice to use to pick up stitches. I haven't seen any with square tops like your others, though - very pretty! (Are you and Ravelry?) :)

Thank you Michelle007 (like the 007)... I am unfortunately a lazy knitter... I love starting and thinking about a project but then have a hard time finishing it. Also, I never learned to read patterns, so I typically make my own, which doesn't always work out from a size perspective... Heehee... I haven't actually used these. I was saving them in my box of "various cool objects"...

My Mum could crochet but she was not capable of the work done by her Mother and Aunt Maggie! Irish crochet was a family past-time here in Oz a century ago. These are really nice!
