I believe these 2.5"x1" spiral earrings are Lucite from the 1960's - they could be 1950's because I had another speckled black & gold pair I sold years ago.

Picture 3 and 4 show some of my Lucite rings. I bought the orange ring in 72 or 73 at a dimestore. I wore it the other night for the Monkees concert w/the earrings. Last picture is a mishmash of Lucite rings from that time - none of them are new.

Hi Rose - Yeah, I stack them on these old receipt spike things but be very careful if you have kids or pets - they could poke an eye out. I sound like my MOM.

Thank you Newtimes, Sean and Amber for your comments - they look good stacked on the spike - yes I display them. Adds a little color. I have a stack of bakelite ones too but took them down because I didn't want them to get darker.

Those who have kids/pets could stick a wine cork on the tip of the spike to be safe.

lol.you are to safe lady.lol.Maybe the "spike" will keep the kids away...don't touch...hahaha my 2 year old grandson says oh no that's glass don't touch as he has touched one to many ginger pots & broken the lids.

davy! That's exactly what I do - I put the new-fangled not quite cork black cork on tip. I have 4 of these stacked w/rings.

Rose - I don't have kids but I still "cork" them just in case my birds get curious or one falls over and dumps all the rings on the floor...

Thank you Ken - aren't they fun earrings! They were really well made and thick so that's one way to tell the difference from today's "scratchable" plastic. Plus clips are always a giveaway to vintage.
