I am not a glass expert, but is this where it all started? I think I read that somewhere. With Hen covered dishes. I have at least 1/2 dozen more milk glass Hens. I wanted to feature these because of their unique colors. The large one is hand painted and is in a very good condition. the little salt dishes are very fragile (yellow one's beak is a little damaged).

    My Mom grew up on a farm. My Aunt used to complain all the time about getting the eggs, insisting that hens were evil. Decades later still hating hens (they peck). Therefore I have been sending her lots of vintage chicken decor, including a couple of these gals. It's a joke that never gets old...
