I love vintage luggage and cases. I got this set of 4 online, a medium and a small suitcase, a hat box and a toiletries pouch. I think they were from the 60s/70s, no brand.

I bought an avocado green vintage suitcase similar to the 2 here sometime ago and once on a very short trip, I decided I was going to use it. I was carrying it in the airport when it went 'clunk' and the suitcase fell off the handle. I was left holding the hard plastic handle while the rest of the bag just broke off. Oh boy, was it fun running around trying to buy a reasonably priced carry bag to transfer my clothes and stuff into, and putting the broken vintage suitcase into storage while I was out for 2 days because I didn't want to throw away that lovely suitcase. I thought I could glue it back (I was wrong). I made my flight but in the process of all that running around, lost my wallet, ran around somemore and found it back at the bag shop. It was quite an adventure and I hadn't even left the airport!

Thanks Valentino97! I was really lucky to have got my wallet back - it was still sitting opened up on the cashier's counter of the bag shop I bought the replacement bag from!! Some 20 minutes later too.

I heard about the TSA thing re train cases too, I have a old Samsonite one (like 30s I think) but I haven't used that for travelling. I would really like to use these old luggage but after that initial traumatic/dramatic experience, maybe just for road trips where I have more control over!! Or to the office, or the gym or yoga. LOL. Your cases sound so pretty, I would like to get a red and another olive/avo green one again!
