    This is actually the Colorado pattern, and differs from the Jewel (AKA: Lacy Medallion) pattern which has a snap ring base.

    You're very welcome, the 1904 date predates the Jewel pattern YOP date of 1905.

    These were given out at fairs, sporting and other special events quite often in the early part of the 20th century. Generally would have the event, date and person's initials that received it. My wife has a couple of these and loves them. Basically souvenir glasses.
