hi ,yard sale item , normal size plate , would anyone know how old this may be , I not sure if it is enamel , there is a separate black mark on the back , thank you

    It's very nice lundy,Looks Chinese.. I'll see what I can find out about the mark. Sometimes they are just greetings and salutations like "Good fortune and long life" and pieces are not always from the period if the mark says it's old. Very tricky to ID Asian porcelain. Looks like something I've seen before though. -Mike-

    Here you go lundy...It's a fairly modern piece. This mark in variations was used on porcelain from the late 60's to 90's.It's read from right to left starting with the character that looks kind of like our small "t". It basically says. Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi. Meaning: "Great Qing Qianlong Period Make". The other little black mark could be an artist of factory mark.
