I bought this Table & Chairs about 10 yrs back. I think I paid $300.00 for the set. It had some awful striped fabric from the 70's on it. I found some Beautiful Pictorial Scene fabric and redone all the cushions. I Love Mahogany Pieces!

The Greek Lyre on the chairs is a Gorgeous Touch.
This is getting serious,buddy...you're starting to stack and lean. (Stacking books on the floor and leaning pictures against things!)
LMAO! Well I Fostered 2 abused kids and ended up taking Legal custody of both. I had to take 2 rooms in house and turn it over to them. About 40 paintings per room came down and all antique Furniture was moved into a back room. I had shelves for those books but now the have cds', dvds, etc on them, so the books were put downstairs until I can get something to put them in. A few changes! Dave
You are a better man than I, sir! Actually, it looks quite good.
I have one chair I picked up on the side of the road. I believe the cover has been reupholstered, but all the lyres that I have seen on these tell city chairs are different than mine. There seem to be a gap at the top of the lyre with just empty space... Mine isn't empty space it is the continuation of the three vertical 'wooden strings'... i wonder why?
