My husband and I found this while wandering an off road in Mississippi. I think we paid $1.00 for it.... It's really neat, but we have no idea of any history behind it. We've seen others similar to it on Ebay, and another decanter website, but nothing for one that looks like this. This is a dog, hound dog I think, who is wearing a holster/gun, has boots with spurs, and has a noose around his neck. His head pops off to be filled with whiskey. When you wind him up, the inner musical box plays "How dry I am". Does anyone know what this might be worth? Right now, it's sitting in my husband's law office - it makes him smile.

No, we have not. But, we are planning to go to a home & garden show where an appraiser has set up a booth this weekend. Hopefully, he will know something.
