I collect old marbles, old beaded jewelry and old glass bottles. I have some old postcards too. I found a postcard at an antique shop with a picture of the house I used to own on it. The postmark on the card is 1914. The pic had been taken from down the street and it included the little corner store that was on our street about 2 blocks from our house. In 1914 the building was the Day Drug Store. Later I found an old prescription bottle that was labled, "Day Drug Store". Needless to say I bought the bottle and I have the postcard in a frame so the two are displayed together on my mantle. I've had these 2 items for over 25 years and I still get excited knowing I have that old postcard and the old medicine bottle that came from that little corner store!
