approx 14-18 inches all wood who carved these kinds of items ....is there a specialty magazine or library of stuff like this ...whats it worth

The fact that it has a lower cover makes me think tourist item and not old. Value is what someone might be willing to pay. Unmarked items like this are normally sold in tourist traps. Without the lower cover it could be seen as porn rather than art when trying to bring it into the country.
It appears to be a novelty item and I am not seeing it as antique . Maybe older would be a better word . Dolls or figures like this date back to at least 1700's . With anotomical parts . They were owned by men at that time . I had one from 1800's and it had a slide cover . It had been passed through my family and from when I got it it was told it was kept in a dresser hid and the men would take it out as a gag . But there is a long history of these and in 1700's used as porn . They even made them with both female and parts on same wood doll . Dressed like a lavish woman but when skirt lifted it also had male parts . I know that did not answer your question but I feel your's is is from 20 th century . Made as a gag and like fhr said tourist trade .
Oh and it appears African and may have been sold as a fertility doll also :-)
The more I look it suggests to me it has breasts and also at pelvic area does it represent a uterus ? That would be in keeping with the way some of these were made both sexes in one .
