I have a CHINESE GREEN JADE ARCHAISTIC VASE, all I know is that its old and from China. I do not know how much it's worth. Hopefully there is someone out there who is aware of it's worth and what it is. It has a protective box with Chinese writing on it, please help and tell me what it's worth.

What an amazing piece! I would love to know the story of how you came across it. Is it from your family? An auction?
My Mom bought it about 18 years ago in a estate auction. It sat in her antique shop for about 6 months until she closed it. When my Mother passed, my sister gave it to me. I don't know its history after that or how much its worth.

Mitchell Chen is a Stanford professor who can do an online appraisal. He is very very good and I highly recommend him. He appraised (and translated) the nephrite plaque in my collection gallery. I recently sent him pictures of two more jade objects for appraisal.
