Found these red & white bangles this weekend in Stillwater, MN for $7. About 3/16" - and opening is 2.75" which makes me think they aren't from the 1930's - most bangles weren't this big. No seams and inside is a pretty red - do you think they are 1960's Lucite?
When I got home I discovered my car had been stolen over the weekend - so I'm glad I didn't go hog-wild junkin in Minnesota like I normally would have.
They look 40s to me style wise, don't they?
Pretty... Missed you on CW...
Thanks Amber - because they are light - work as sound spacers between my wider red bakelite and Lucite bangles.
Thanks Nadia - love your new profile picture!
Thank you for the love: Nldionne, Lee and Kevin.
They are great! I hope you get your car back
Thanks mikelv85 for your love.
Reminds me of Christmas, instead of candy canes candy bangles :-). Thanks for sharing Val
thanks vintagejewel, bratjdd and freihiet for your love!
Thanks Sean!
I really like these!
Thank you Elisabeth! These are really nice, very light and quiet. You can stack up your arm and enjoy without annoying others (ha ha!!). Not celluloid, these are 60's lucite. I also have some nice tan and white.
I miss that car. It was a 1990 4-door Honda Civic with a sun-roof and both a tape deck and CD player. So awful that it was stolen. Later they found it in a "chop shop" about 60 miles away. By that time my insurance company had paid me and I had a different car, but it was a sad end to a very nice little car to be cut up for parts. I'm not a car snob, I loved that car. It was at 200,000 miles, ran great! and also great size for my urban parking world besides the other little cool things I loved.
