    I have these 2 pieces for about 40 years, got them when I was young, from a very old neighbor. I like them because they are so primitively done. I also am intrigued by them, since anywhere I've looked I cant find anything like them..

      Maybe not Asian?
      That crown on the lion's head is more European, imho.
      Are they a pair?
      The same size?

      Y. I believe they are a pair. They are the same size, but one is a bowl, the other a plate. Any ideas on value?

      sorry about asking for ideas on value. I meant are they worth researching anymore or just putting them back on the shelf. Still not sure what time they are from, but thx for the input guys, and gals.
