Kevin, they did that all the time with delicate Seed Pearls...so you can see the lustre of the pearls better....

This type of jewelry is in my opinion seriously undervalued. It is a typical example of the craftsmanship and patience what they had in earlier times for making jewelry! Very very beautiful!!!

I can not fail to mention here. A special event at this beautiful earrings. The day before yesterday I had surgery. Just before the anasthesist said to think a beautiful event/incident. A piece of beautiful natural landscape came to me. And why I do not know, but I saw these beautiful antique seed pearl earrings came into my mind and with that look on my retina the make me sleep. I do this to let you know!

I hope you operation went well I have to set of pearl earrings nothing like yours but completely different to each other. Under the black light one set goes green so I would say not real the second set doesn't change in that way at all & the gold looks to be well done will have to put done. If you Agram.m or lee have a idea on type of pearl could you let me know . In that case any information would be grateful.
