    these paintings are hanging in a bar that was built in 1877
    there are 22 of them can not find any info on them at all...
    any help would be great

      They look like there still on the wall? What are they painted on, wall itself, canvas?? Any signature? Also you should be able to check with local Library or Historian to find out History of the property, someone had to put them up. Dave

      Thank you so much: here is what I have found so far; The guy that built this building was one of the first people to settle in this town, and he had the paintings done. They are not painted on the wall, there is plaster-board on the wall I was told by a contractor that the back of the plaster-board said (Imported form Italy 1877) I do not know that for sure I did not look myself!!! They are painted on a board (not sure what kind of board) and stapled (yes stapled) to this plaster-board. So that is what I know so far. Thank you so much for your time.
