I think this was my Great Grandfather's Baseball Bat. Don't know anything other than that about it though. I would like to get any information about when it was made or the company that made it.

Pennant Baseball bats have not been made since around of the turn of the century. Not only are the bats extremely rare but the other baseball items made by the Pennant brand are also great collector's item. Around 1900-10 era.

How about a Pennant # 556 Knock Out Bat?

These links may tell you more. Look at the scanned flyers/advertising's from the early 1900s. I was looking for a Pennant 544 and Found It in the 1932 advertisement.
