Found this pristine piece of Dresden today at SA. It's really beautiful and the painting is intricate and detailed. It measures 9"x 10" not a nick or chip and the gilding is perfect . Photo glare makes some of it look like it's missing. Not sure about the age or artist as Dresden is not a factory but a generic term for this German regional porcelain. The mark can sometimes indicate the artist's initial. In this case maybe "Franziska Hirsch" but I'm not sure. It does look similar to her style. Her marks don't use the crown though at least not the few I've seen online. -Mike-

I love and collect German porcelain, including Dresden - but I have not seen this pattern and back stamp yet. It's very beautiful!

Thanks Jay.. It's always fun to just walk into the thrift stores and there these pieces sit. Pay and go. Doesn't happen very often :)
