Oha, that's an icon! There were some pieces on ebay these days. Far beyond my reach. This series is a non plus ultra.

No problem, Austro, I take the whole collection. Harlekiini is really very special. Do you know something more about it's history? I suppose, it was always very expensive, even when it was new?

Well... to get that info we should ask the Finnish experts at the FB Finnish glass Lovers group ;) But I do beleive it was always a very special design.

it was on ebay for a long time 4 months ago i made an offer which he did not accept last weak i raised my offer a little and he accepted at the end I paid a lot less then what they ask online
in the 1959 pricelist it cost finnish krona 1200,-- and the liquer decanter which Austro has was 2300,-- finnish krona dont know if that was expensive at that time to compare it a 25 cm Orkidea by Sarpaneva was in 1959 4100 krona
fortunately art and prices are not compareable in terms of weight or size,well done vlkma you must be extra happy owning this special piece instead of the money you spent on it!!!!?? lovely find!
