These pins were given to the folks that stayed here, but supported the War Effort nonetheless. Pic 1 are pins given for excellence in meeting production quotas. Pic 2 are Red Cross Pins (First Aid Instructor, Lifesaving Instructor ARC, Red Cross Volunteer, and a Red Cross 35 year pin. Pic 3 is 2 Liberty Loan pins, and a Civil Defense pin. These interest me for their history, their beauty, and remembrance of a time when we all stood together for a common goal.

The E-Award was for more than just meeting production quotas on schedule, it also stood for excellence in product quality, good working conditions, high employee satisfaction and exceptional health & safety standards.
