Tortolani snake wrap clip hoop earrings

These antiqued-silver snake earrings have a spring that opens and clamps to the earlobe. Approximately 1-1/8" , signed c Tortolani on back.

I found some items on ebay but not these. And a little info: "Frank Tortolani came to America from Italy in 1923. A second-generation jeweler, he created the line that was so popular from 1950 to 1976 and won many awards for his designs. Each of his pieces is signed on the back."

Going thru my silver boxes today - some sterling and some like this that are not but very nice.
