She appears to be a Jester painted doll and clothes hard to tell in box . These dolls came out in 1980's and up 1990's , There were several companies that called themselves Heritage dolls . Does it say more on box can I see back of it ? Your girlfriend I am sure will love it and that you bought it for her will make it truely special to her . It is not rare but in beautiful condition . I do love the way they painnted the eyes on her :-)

There are no markings on her box at all. She looks like a harlequin doll and plays beautiful classical music. Shes in her original box with the original plastics still on her and an old price tag on the top. No barcodes any where nor certificates save for a vague "certificate of authenticity" tag still attatched to her hand.

I guess I use Jester and Harlequin as synonymous although slight difference but often will be referred as a Harlequin Jester :-) She may have came originally as a mail order doll with more info on shipping box . Like I said lots of Companies used that name . I would not call her rare however .
