Is this chair anything great? i see them every now and again, and they look like good quality mid-century pieces, but i don't know much else about them. i couldn't find any marks / lables on this chair.
If you look at the joints where the legs and rockers come together it will tell you the story. It is a Shaker style reproduction. That isn't a bad thing but in this chair I wouldn't assume it has value.
If you look underneath it should say Yugoslavia on the wood. Its a Danish Modern Mid Century rope rocker in the style of Hans Wegner they sell for around 3-5 hundred dollars. Nice find.
