      It's a Japanese Kutani Cat.

Thank you Laura, can you share more information about it. Do you know how can I get an estimated value?

Look on ebay at Kutani cat, just put this in the search and you can get a pretty good idea of value. Some of the older ones are worth a lot of money, I have one with a similar pattern and I believe it's probably worth around 100.00. I dont believe that this one or mine either for that matter is one of the older ones so not worth a great deal of money. I believe Kutani refers to a region in Japan where there were a lot of potteries that did really good work. Laura

Does any one knows about the numbers and letters on the buttom of the Kutani cat?

In my humble opinion this is a Chinese reproduction of the Japanese Kutani export cats, made in the late Victorian era to adorn pianos and other large surfaces in the home.

The Kutani cats were white and much plainer in motifs with a few gold highlights and a colored ribbon at the neck. You will find many Chinese reproduction from the mid-20th century (on Ebay), in all kinds of colors, and dense enamel decorations.

I owned a pretty blue one for a while. Of course value is quite different between Kutani cats antiques and their more recent Chinese counterparts.
